A Fiddle’s Journey:
From Arthur Conner’s Workshop to the Stage
In a surprising turn of events, our workshop received a treasure trove of musical history: a collection of instruments and parts from the legendary Arthur Conner workshop. Among these relics was a partially finished four-string fiddle, a testament to the master craftsman’s artistry.
We were honored to complete this unfinished masterpiece, carefully crafting a new fingerboard, bridge, and strings to bring it to life. The finished instrument, a beautiful example of Conner’s work, found its way into the hands of talented bluegrass artist Mark Lewis.
This extraordinary journey, from the workshop of a legendary luthier to the stage, is a testament to the enduring power of music and the artistry that goes into creating these timeless instruments. Roll over the images for captions
